From the exhibition catalogue "Three centuries of beer-making in Belgrade", Museum of Science and Techology, Belgrade, 2019: "Under the name of Belgrade Industry of Beer, BIP, it was formed on January 13, 1963. The first logo didn't contain the year of foundation and it was in use until 1968. Original logo from 1968. did not have inscription on the red section, but soon afterwards the text "founded in 1850" was added. This logo was in use until 1998, when the year on it was changed to 1839. ... Considering that in 1995. BIP was one of the sponsors of the TV show "The end of Obrenović Dynasty", and that King Aleksandar Obrenović was a great beer lover, BIP produced a new extra quality beer called Aleksandar."
