The oldest preserved post-WW2 crown cap from this brewery is from the late 1960's / early 1970's with cork liner, but the same design was used also after the switch to plastic liners. Evolution of the logo and type can be seen as from more romantic of the 20th century to more formal and all capital letters of the 21st century. The orientation also changes from slanted of the late 1990's to straight of the 21th century. In 2002. the first Croatian radler, Biker, was introduced, and in 2011. reintroduced. In 2011. logo was enhanced with the coat of arms containing a pair of martens (also name for the Croatian currency) around the glass, to be briefly replaced in 2016. by the official coat of arms of Osijek, and then by two angels with trumpets (still in use). Factory sign (FS on crowns) succession supports the proposed dating of crown caps: Serbian crown cap producer Metaloplastika Šabac gave way to Croatian producer Pluto Zagreb after Croatia seceded from YU in the early 1990's. In the early 2000's they switched to Slovenian crown cap producer Plutal 2000, until 2016. (when Plutal stopped production of crown caps), returning back to Serbian cap producer from Šabac, now named Galeb Metal Pack (GMP).
Unlike branded crown caps were the oldest preserved ones are from the 1970's, labels date back to mid-1950's. They are not dated, but they bear the Approval by Ministry of Sanitation from March 1954 (3-54). It is interesting to notice the shelf life of beers in those days: until late 1960's when process of pasteurization was introduced, their shelf life was 10 - 12 days, while in 1968. it was extended to 45 (now 180 days). Labels from the 1960's are also not dated, but they bear the standard JUS E.M2.050 introduced in 1959. Initial labels from this period are elyptical, and first rectangular ones also preserved this graphical design. The label that was used the longest (15 or more years, until mid-1990's) was the logo on papyrus like scroll, with melt red wax seal. Useful for dating labels of this brewery is the fact that on those from the period 1969. - 1984. its full name was Osječka pivovara i Vinogorje. From 1996. we have labels with logo on a slanted strip, existing until 2003. This was interchangeably used with a slanted logo without a strip with words "Osječko pivo / crno / 1697". 2004/5 brought straightening of the logo, and switching to capital letters. Adding the coat of arms with martens in 2011, and switching to the one with angels was already described above, in the section of crown caps.
